| Biography/History |
Dr Desmond Arnott graduated from the University of Sydney in 1925, and became an early practitioner of psychiatric medicine in Sydney, commencing private practice in 1933. He was at one time President of the Australian Association of Psychiatrists. In 1962 he purchased "Ockendon" near Orange, New South Wales and many of his notebooks relate to farm management. Arnott had previously owned a smaller property, 1950-1962, nearer Sydney.
