Summary

Correspondence, diaries, resource surveys, reports, articles and printed matter relating to Rudduck's positions and projects. There are also 2 letterbooks of his grandfather, Nelson Rudduck, (1849-1935) concerning Rechabites, Temperance Movement and the Methodist Church, and correspondence and a diary (1939) relating to Grenfell's brother Jack, a Kimberleys pastoralist. Amongst the printed matter is a limited edition exhibition catalogue The art of the late Tom Roberts, and autographed prints by Daryl Lindsay.

Biography/History Architect and town planner, Rudduck was born at Dromana, Victoria. He was influential in the development of Canberra and the A.N.U. Among his posts were: U.N. Technical Adviser to the Federation of Malaya 1955, Adviser on Housing and Settlement for the Pakistan Government 1956-1957, Regional Planning Adviser to the DepT. of the Army 1957-1958, and Associate Commissioner for the National Capital Development Commission from 1958 until his death. He was also Secretary of the Commonwealth Advisory Panel on the Air Transport of Cattle and Beef, from 1954.
