Edgley talks about her lifelong desire to dance, her first pantomine at Kings Theatre in Melbourne, dancing lessons at Jenny Brennan School of Dancing and association with performers Edgley and Dawe. She then talks about her parents' background, her work with the Green Mill, travelling Australia, England and New Zealand with "Midnight Frolics" and her work as ballet mistress. Edgley then describes the effect of WWII on the theatre, her marriage to Eric Edgley in 1940, a three month tour of Africa and return to Australia to do pantomines for J. C. Williamson. She speaks of her involvement with radio 3DB doing the show "Keep it clean," her move to Tasmania with the company for 2 years and the taking over of His Majesty's Theatre in Perth. She then describes the bringing over of overseas shows as well as putting on their own performances. Her husband brought the first Russian show to Australia in 1962. She then talks about the various Russian shows that were brought over and the participation in the business by son Michael after death of husband in 1967. Edgley also talks about her dancing roles in "Romeo and Juliet", "Onegin" and "The Sentimental Bloke," her association with Robert Helpmann and the films that the family have been involved in.
