Biography/History

Sir Archdale Parkhill held the seat of Warringah, N.S.W. for the United Australia Party from 1927 to 1937. During the ten years, he held the portfolios of Home Affairs and Transport (1932), Interior (1932), Postmaster-General (1932-1934), and Defence(1934-1937).
