"being a claim at law by the Miriam People alleging traditional native title to Murray, Dawar and Waier Islands and surrounding seas and reefs located in the Eastern Torres Straits, in the State of Queensland ..."-Title Page. Contents include photos, maps, statement of claim (May 1982), opening and closing remarks by J. Moynihan, transcript of evidence and a written statement by Wailu. Inscribed 'To Jack and family ...', by Bryan Keon-Coen (Plaintiffs), 14 July 1991. Has annotations.

Biography/History

Jack Wailu was one of the witnesses involved in the Mabo case.
