Summary

John Kenna talks about a shearer nicknamed "The Phantom; shearing around Hamilton, Victoria; John Kenna Senior was a shearing contractor nicknamed "Switchem"; shearing angora goats; shearing at Policeman's Point, South Australia, Hay, Booligal and Woomera Rocket Range; numbers shorn. Sue Kenna talks about her jobs in shearing sheds in New Zealand and Western Victoria; swearing in front of the female workers; woolclassing; bad pay and conditions. John Kenna talks about New Zealand shearers; wide combs; Australian Workers Union; current work as a handyman ; incomplete story about Malcolm Fraser.
