|aThe National Florence Nightingale Committee was created in 1946, at a conference in Melbourne attended by members of various state Florence Nightingale Committees which had been established prior to World War II. The Committee fostered post graduate nursing education in Australia until the early 1990s when it was dissolved and its assets formed into a trust, administered by the Royal College of Nursing. |
