Summary

Research material on the life and work of Walter Burley Griffin and his wife Marion Mahony Griffin. Includes research notes, correspondence, bibliographies, publications, copies of journal articles and theses, photographs of people and buildings, architectural plans, drawings, and microfilms. Also includes various versions of Marion Mahony Griffin's unpublished autobiographical work 'The Magic of America'.

Biography/History Born in the USA, Johnson became Professor of Architecture at Flinders University, Adelaide. Author of a number of works on architecture, his particular interests being Walter Burley Griffin and Frank Lloyd Wright.
