Summary

Walton speaks of beginning of her flying career at the age of 17; of meeting Sir Charles Kingsford Smith; she describes the training available for pilots in the 1930's; earning a living flying her Gypsy Moth; selling her plane and going to Europe as a guest of K.L.M.; she speaks of women in aviation. Walton recalls her childhood and family life during the Depression; she speaks of the Air Ambulance service which she helped establish.
