The collection contains: George Cassidy's personal hardback copy of the 2nd ed. of Ray Lawler's "Summer of the seventeenth doll" (Sydney : Angus and Robertson, 1957) abn97197957 with inserts: a letter, dated 29 July 1957, to Cassidy from John Sumner, Victorian Manager of the Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust, mentioning the play; newspaper clippings, dated ca. 1958-1965, concerning international productions of the drama.
