Sir Lionel Lindsay was a keen photographer who was interested in photographic processes. The collection includes 20 Lumiere autochrome plates taken about 1906, as well as examples of early photographic processes. Snapshots and portraits of the Lindsay family and friends include Norman Lindsay, Ruby Lindsay, Daryl Lindsay, Peter Lindsay, Reg Lindsay, Hans Heysen, George Lambert painting "The squatter's daughter", Edward Dyson, Sir William Ashton, Julian Ashton, Dr Julian Smith and Banjo Paterson.
