Folkloric recording. 1. The Camenzulis speak of their early lives in Malta, the reasons which lead them to emigrate to Australia following the devastation of Malta during World War II, a detailed account of their voyage to Australia in 1956 on the ship 'Skaubryn' which caught fire and sank in the Indian Ocean, how they were eventually rescued, how they arrived in Australia and established themselves in Sydney. 2. - Second tape includes a musical session with Nazzareno Camenzuli, Vince Gauci and Joe Mifsud on guitar with Georgina Caminzuli singing Maltese folk songs.
- Documentation includes the English translation of a song composed by Georgina Camenzuli about their experience of the sinking of the ship 'Skaubryn' entitled: Saga of the 'Skaubryn' migrants.
