The papers contain handwritten books Angas entitled: "The British Possession and United States of North America"; "The Victoria - Tavistock"; "The Victoria, 1838"; handwritten essays with pencil sketches -"A Journey down the Murray"; "From Plymouth to Sydney" and a handwritten essay with pen and pencil sketches entitled "South Africa - Round about Cape Town".

Biography/History

English artist; visited South Australia, New Zealand, South Africa; published illustrated volumes of his travels and a book of poems.
