An attack on Sandwich for his failure to accord the author's father, J.R. Forster, the writing of the official account of Cook's second voyage.

Some of the Library's copies lack the plate.

SR2 copy (Petherick) contains plate of a caricature entitled "The German doctor with his family on his travels to England copnducted by Mynheer Shinder-Knecht", bound in at back. This plate was sold by J. Williams, bookseller and printed by Robinson.
