| Summary |
The papers consist of correspondence, notes, lists of names and site plans relating to the raising of funds for the Rudduck Memorial and the building of the memorial. There is also a Grenfell Rudduck memorial issue of the Australia Planning Institute Journal, an interim report brochure on the stage reached in the construction of the Memorial and the Treasurer's booklet. The correspondence includes letters from Doug Anthony, Sir John Overall, Sir Harold White, David Hodgkin and Walter Bunning.

| Biography/History |
Grenfell Rudduck (1914-1964) was a town planner and architect who, as associate commissioner at the N.C.D.C., played an important part in the planning of Canberra. He was also involved in town planning in Pakistan. The Grenfell Rudduck Memorial was designed by Walter Bunning from Money raised by Rudduck's friends, under the direction of David Hodgkin. |
