This CD-ROM is the first digitised version of the Book of Kells to have been authorised by Trinity College Dublin and has been produced by a partnership of Trinity College Library and X Communications. It includes images of the entire contents of the manuscript, with detailed reproductions of fourteen of the most significant illustrated pages. The history of the manuscript is narrated, and decorative and symbolic themes are clearly explained.
