Summary

Sager, a dancer and teacher, speaks of her family background, recollects her early stage experiences and early technical classes, her life during the Depression, her early teachers, how she moved from New Zealand to Australia, how she took classes with Helene Kirsova, surviving as a dancer in Sydney in the 1940's, Kirsova's working methods, Anna Pavlova in New Zealand in the 1920s, joining the Borovansky Ballet, early Borovansky dancers and repertoire, the differences between the Kirsova and Borovansky companies, and Borovansky's productions such as Terra Australis and Petrouchka.
