Folkloric recording. George Leight, retired farmer, was born 1907, Queensland. He recalls his family background; his father's work as a dairy farmer at Yeulba, Queensland; his early memories of Queensland and the limited schooling he received; tales of Cob & Co. coaches; how he had helped with the changing of horses at the Cobb and Co. coach stop his parents ran. Leight recalls that the last coach ran in 1924. Leight also speaks of his later life as a farmer, his music and other recreational pastimes.
