John Patrick (Paddy) O'Brien speaks of his brother Roy O'Brien, a champion boxer, boxing stories and experiences, opponents and boxing champions; his family and father's family from Nattai, N.S.W.; early days of his family at turn of century; stories from his parents about Jimmy and Joe Governor; family moving from Dubbo district to Nattai; father building house out of stringy bark; flooding of land for Warragamba Dam; moving to Sydney; the Depression and its effect on the family; catching rabbits and foxes to support family; prices; working in shoe trade; selling skins. During interview O'Brien sings the song Fair, fat and forty.
