The album contains about 80 letters by Scottish missionaries in the New Hebrides. The letters were mostly written by Agnes and William Watt, reporting back to the Glasgow Foundry Boys Religious Society. The letters deal generally with the missions, Melanesian customs and the Pacific labour trade. The album also contains some photographs and printed ephemera from the Mission Press, Kwamera, Tana.
