Untitled part of a terrestrial globe gore sheet (1688?), showing the eastern side of Borneo to western coast of Papua New Guinea titled "Nuova Guinea", south-eastern Indonesia to the northern coast of Australia titled "Het Niew Hollandt, ó Terra di Concordia, Scoperta l'anno 1618, Het Landt van Endracht Holl". The map outline for Niew Hollandt stretches from along the northern Australian coastline from around Arnhem land in the east to the Kimberley Plateau the west. Coronelli has filled the gaps in his outline of Niew Hollandt, including Arnhem Land showing vignettes of elephant and reindeers; and Torres Strait named Mer de Lantchidol. Relief shown pictorially.
