Cpt. Morton Henry Moyes was a member of the 1911-1914 Mawson expedition to the Antarctic. Dr Barwick, a zoologist from the Australian National University went to the Antarctic as a member of the New Zealand party of the BCTAE, who worked here in 1957-1958 & 1958-1969.
