Dr Lamb, tells of being seconded to the ABC Commission as a Liaison Officer (1956-1960) for Schools Broadcasts. He recalls one of the highlights of his career being the introduction of TV into the classrooms. By demonstrating how TV could be used to enrich and complement teachers, not replace them Dr Lamb was able to overcome the Education Dept.'s cautious approach in adopting educational TV. He was involved in the development of Degree courses for Primary and Early Childhood teachers. Lamb went on to hold senior positions such as Director of Teacher Education at Mitchell College of Advanced Education; Principal of Armidale Teachers College.
