John Iremonger, Australian publisher, was on the personal staff of Attorney General Kep Enderby from 1973-1975, and in 1977 co-founded Hale and Iremonger. From 1980 to 1990 he worked with the Australian arm of the British publisher Allen & Unwin. He became the director of Melbourne University Press in 1990 and then returned to Allen and Unwin Australia in 1994 as Academic Publishing Director.
