Summary

The primary focus of the Mentor as Anything! program is on developing mentor relationships that assist women in the sport and recreation industry. This booklet provides two sets of strategies. A step-by-step list outlines the action required by organisations that want to set up a mentor program and another list outlines the tasks for individuals who want to establish their own mentoring relationship. Mentor as Anything! can be adopted by individuals who may already be in informal mentoring arrangements but who want the support and validation provided by a formal program, as well as individuals who may want to set up a mentor relationship themselves. Mentor as Anything! can also be used by organisations that want to establish a specific mentor program.
