The MS 3671 collection relates almost entirely to Nosworthy's professional career, the bulk being plans, specifications, contracts and correspondence relating to various assignments, including St. Andrews College and Women's College at the University of Sydney, Sydney Day Nursery, Ku-ring-gai Old Peoples' Welfare Association and YWCA. It includes postcards and photos of local architecture gathered on her overseas trips, and of examples of her Australian work. Also included are newspaper cuttings, and letters pertaining to the family of Sir Grafton Elliott Smith, anthropologist and anatomist (14 boxes, 6 folio boxes).
The Acc12.155 instalment comprises papers relating to the design by Ellice Nosworthy in 1963 of an extension to the home of Mrs Alan Neil Yuille at 18 Coonanbarra Road Wahroonga, N.S.W. Comprises notes regarding specifications and three architectural plans (1 bag).

Ellice Nosworthy was one of the first three women to graduate in architecture at the University of Sydney, in 1922, and one of the first two to be registered in N.S.W. when registration began in June 1923. She was an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects and a Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. During her career in Australia and briefly in Britain, the United States, Europe and Scandinavia, she established an extensive practice in domestic architecture.
