| Biography/History |
Dr. Hunter (1888-1964) was chief biologist on the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, 1911-1914. In 1929 he was appointed the first full-time Medical Secretary, New South Wales Branch, British Medical Association. In 1934 he became Secretary to the Federal Council of the British Medical Association in Australia. He became the first Secretary-General of the Australian Medical Association in 1962.
