Jean 'Jeana' Bradley, a drama producer, born 1906, in Wiluna, W.A., talks about her childhood and growing up amongst Indigenous children; the sale of the family station; her father's brothers fighting in the Boer War: growing up during WWI; her developing interest in theatre; her schooling; taking speech lessons; voice training in Perth with Lionel Logue; her university studies in Teaching and later her Masters in English Literature at Melbourne University; her teaching career; the WWII years; her marriage and its demise; her involvement with theatre at the University of Western Australia, productions; her memories of the New Fortune Theatre in Western Australia.
