Notes

Preservation and working duplicate made.

The Australian Provisional Government (AGP) is a movement formed by the delegates to the 1990 meeting of the National Federation of Land Councils. The aim of the APG is to promote Aborigines as a people and not as a minority and therefore not forever governed by Australians, and the means to do this is the reacquisition of land as a process enabling the formation of an independent and sovereign Aboriginal state. To this end, the AGP supports the return of all crown land to provide the foundation for Aboriginal economic independence, advocates a separate Aboriginal team for the Olympic Games and the return of human remains from overseas universities and museums. Since 1992 regional committees have been set up in each state.
