Boxer speaks about her Aboriginal mother and her European father; the removal of her younger brother and sister to Koonibba Lutheran Mission, S. Aust.; conditions at the Mission as described to her by her friend living at the Mission; and the feelings of girls who were removed from their families. She mentions the names of some of the people and families at the Mission. Boxer also speaks about her marriage; what happened to her brother and sister who were removed; the loss of her mother's language and culture; and her current involvement with Aboriginal women's culture.
