Summary

Henry Stafford Northcote was Governor-General of the Australian Commonwealth from Jan1904 to Sept. 1908. He also served as Governor of Bombay.

Manuscript reference no.: MS 9696

Related Material Letter regretting that Northcote is unable to attend the Imperial Federation meeting. He states that he sees no reason that colonists should not occupy seats in the British Parliament, and that all should be done to strengthen connections with the Colonies.
