Summary

Kings Cross, Sydney. The middle room at the underground dwelling. Wally Murray and members of his family lived in this room. The sand stone wall at the far end of the picture is where the entrance was, to the left was a third room which had become unoccupied due to a recent death. And to the right is the room shown in captioned pictures no. 4 and 5. The mattresses are raised off the ground with milk crates. There was no running water or electricity. Photo taken 1995.
