-
"English born Harold Wright was a wandering tinker in rural N.S.W. and Victoria. He lived and worked in an amazing home built caravan, at first horse drawn, then mounted on an ancient truck chassis. Calling himself 'The Sharpening King' he repaired all manner of household utensils, tools and footwear. He is shown here with daughter Evelyn. Wife Jean was too shy to be photographed. Harold is buried in the Wangaratta, Victoria, cemetery. His unique vehicle was recently located in the town and acquired by the National Museum of Australia."--Photographer's note.
