Summary

The collection consists basically in handwritten and typed drafts of his many books, plays, verse, journal articles, essays and short stories. They range in subject from chemistry text books to works on religion and literature. There is also a series of notebooks he kept during the 1920s and 1930s and there are reprints of articles and magazines in which his work was published.

Biography/History

James Pound (1888-1966) was a writer and lecturer. He was Head of the Chemistry Dept, School of Mines Ballarat (now the Institute of Advanced Technology).
