Source of Acquisition The Beyer Collection is an extensive library of accumulated anthropological materials on Philippine culture and history as collected by Henry Otley Beyer, an American anthropologist who lived for more than half a century in the Philippines. In 1972 the National Library of Australia acquired a valuable portion of the Beyer Collection.
