Three separate accounts of Allan Padman's experiences, 1928-1929, covering the journey by old Ford, farming in W.A. and the bush fire, the return home. Also four photographs. Typescript.

Biography/History

Pioneer farmer in Western Australia. Secured a government grant of 1,000 acres of land at Grass Patch, 400 miles south of Coolgardie, Western Australia. Bush fire swept the country and he was forced to return.
