| Biography/History |
John Meredith began recording bush music in 1953, continuing until 1994. He was a foundation member of the Bushwhackers. He was involved with the formation of the Bush Music Club and the Australian Folklore Society. He was the author of Folk Songs of Australia, volumes 1 and 2.
