Green, surf ski champion and Olympic Kayaking bronze medallist, speaks about his family background; involvement as a teenager with the Maroubra Surf Club; his wife and family; introduction to the surf ski; development of the surf ski; his transition to kayaks; winning a bronze medal in the Kayak Pairs with Wally Brown at 1956 Olympics; competing at Olympics in 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1972; lack of high level competition due to remoteness of Australia; hostility of canoeists towards surf ski paddlers; and his involvement in coaching since 1974.
