Eliot prizes, his association with various Soviet sympathisers, the attitude towards Communism among Australian intellectuals, his political beliefs, his approach to writing, his theory of poetry, Angus & Robertson and the publishing of Australian poetry, Robert Mann of Quadrant, his encouragement of new poets, the Literature Board, his proposals for income supplementation for writers, his upcoming autobiography by Peter Alexander. Reads and comments on a selection of his poems.
