Summary

MS 9034 comprises personal papers of Margaret Holmes, some relating to her involvement with the Australian Student Christian Movement and the World Council of Churches. The collection includes diaries, financial papers, conference and travel notes, a notebook containing some handwritten ASCM minutes, travel brochures, correspondence and photographs.

The Acc07.010 instalment includes photographs, correspondence and material relating to refugees and immigration.

Biography/History Christian and administrator. Holmes was a former General Secretary of the Australian Student Christian Movement and office bearer in the Australian Section of the World Council of Churches, as well as an active member of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
