Summary

Captain James Colnett's journal of the voyage from England to New South Wales with convicts and free settlers on board the repurposed naval ship HMS Glatton. Colnett's journal provides both a record of the brief use of naval warships as convict transports and his own observations about the colony of New South Wales at that time.

Biography/History
