Dailan Pugh, an artist and forest activist, speaks of his years growing up on Dunmoochin, an artist co-operative founded by his father Clifton in the hills past Hurstbridge on Melbourne's north-eastern fringe; his decision to settle in the late 1970's in the rainforest area of northern NSW; his involvement in the campaign to firstly protect rainforests, then from the mid 1980's to conserve the old growth forests; the development of his skills as an artist.
