Margot Hilton, born in London (1947) recalls her early life in England; her arrival in Australia (1974); her work helping groups preparing funding submissions in the Victorian Ministry for the Arts and writing various publications on behalf of the Ministry; her membership of the Australian Writers Guild. She speaks about her play Potiphar's wife and her other commissioned publications; her work with the Australian Society of Authors (ASA) as Executive Officer from Nov. 1981, which did not involve the PLR Committee or the Public Lending Right issue; the PLR administration being housed separately from ASA.
