Frank Cleary born in 1923 talks about his childhood and his parents background; attending dancing school when he was 10 years of age; appearing in annual concerts, dancing and singing; going backstage at the Sydney Tivoli; learning to juggle; working as an extra in the Tivoli production "Get a load of this"; being taught dance routines by Les Ritchie; becoming a singing, dancing, talking juggler, working the stadiums, halls, ballrooms and dances; becoming a stage hand at the Tivoli; meeting and marrying Gloria Dawn; the early days of their marriage; appearing with his wife in the opening of "Take a bow" at the Melbourne Tivoli; his various positions as a stage hand, mechanist, projectionist; the pantomime "Babes in the wood"; the Tivoli Theatre in Sydney and its construction in 1908 and eventual demolition in the 1960's; the Cremorne Theatre in Brisbane; Sorlies Revue Company; his children; Coles Varieties with Tommy Ayr; touring North Queensland with Stanley McKays Gaieties; Coles Canvas Theatre; going to Korea with an entertainment unit; touring Tasmania with "The follies"; the Tivoli circuit; touring with Ashton's Circus as a ringmaster;
