Summary

Letters, in diary form from Fiji, by Lieutenant Tom Suckling, of H.M. Gunboat Renard, to his cousin and fiancee, Florence Horatia Nelson Suckling. Also included in the volume are family copies of letters by Nelson, St. Vincent, William IV and others.

Biography/History

Thomas Suckling and Florence Horatia Nelson Suckling, cousins in the famous Suckling family and related to Horatio Nelson, were married on 6 September 1876.
