- Map showing the routes taken over the period 1911-1914 by the Australasian Antarctic Expedition lead by Douglas Mawson aboard the 'Aurora'. The routes extend from Tasmania to establishing their main base in Adelie Land [i.e. Terre Adélie] then west to establish another base in Queen Mary Land and finally the return journey to Australia. The map details the routes of 3 summer cruises from 1911-14 and two sub-Antarctica journeys in 1912. Deep sea relief provided by bathymetric soundings.
