Vera Regan, born 1929, remembers her early life and the important part music has played over the years; she sings several songs remembered from older members of her family; she talks about her career as a 'Hillbilly' singer; her mother's home remedies; living conditions in W.A. during the 1930's; life with her brother who had Down's Syndrome; her continuing involvement with music in Busselton, W.A.

Biography/History

Vera Regan, a multi instrumentalist and singer. Vera plays the accordion, piano and the 'guitar-mandolin-banjo' a zither like instrument that was sold door to door in the 1930's.
