Please be advised that this interview includes sensitive content. Kitching speaks about his work at Kinchela Boys' Home, N.S.W. in 1947 and at Burnt Bridge Reserve in 1948 and 1949. He later worked in the Northern Territory as a settlement manager at Jay Creek from 1951 to 1953 and as a patrol officer from 1954 to 1960. Kitching then returned to New South Wales to work for the Aborigines Welfare Board as the Area Welfare Officer for Dubbo, NSW from 1961 to 1971. He outlines the process of child removal.
