-
- Two maps showing the route taken by the British, Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition led by Douglas Mawson aboard the ship 'Discovery'. The first journey covered the period 1929-30, the route is time-dated starting from South Africa, across to Kerguelen Island, then south to Antarctica's Princess Elizabeth Land, then west along the coastline to Kemp Land, then its return journey to Adelaide and finally Melbourne. The Expedition's second journey followed another route, time-dated over the period 1930-1931, with the Discovery leaving Melbourne, then Hobart, then Macquarie Island, then sailing to the north of Antarctica's Cape Adare, then west along the coastline to Kemp Land, then returning to Melbourne via Hobart. Deep sea relief provided by a 1000 fathom line along part of the Antarctica coastline.
