Facsimiles from originals in the British Museum. Published to accompany E.D. Morgan's Remarks on the early discovery of Australia which was presented at the International Geography Congress, 1891 at Berne in Switzerland.
Maps by Jean Rotz reduced from his original atlas in Ms. Department, British Museum, Photo Praetorius. Other maps are reduced facsimiles of part of Descelier's map of the world.
Accompanied by explanatory notes: Early charts of Australia (from The Sydney Morning Herald, April 15, 1886).
